Numbers and money
How many people?
150 on the ceremony hill, 120 at tables in the barn, 180 standing with the doors open. The spaces.
What does it cost?
$8,500 for the weekend buyout, $4,400 single day, $3,900 midweek. Every number is on the rates page.
What’s included?
Tables, chairs, string lighting, band power, restrooms, and setup and teardown — so you don’t hire anything twice. The full list.
How do we hold a date?
$1,500 signs the contract and holds it; balance 60 days out. Refundable in full to 180 days out; if we rebook your date, everything back except $250.
The day
Rules and logistics
Alcohol?
Yes, through a licensed and insured bar service. No self-service kegs, no cash bar without a licensed operator.
How late can we go?
Amplified music ends 10:00 pm outdoors, 11:00 pm in the barn. The township sets no curfew — this one is ours and it holds.
What if it rains?
The ceremony moves under the hay-door gable and dinner seats 120 in the barn. It is a real plan, not an apology.
Can the dog come?
To the ceremony on a leash with a named human responsible, and overnight in the pet cabins for $25.
Our own caterer?
Yes — any licensed, insured caterer. The barn annex has a real prep kitchen built to serve 150.
Sparklers?
In the gravel lot with a bucket, and the send-off photo works fine there. No fireworks, no sky lanterns — working hay farm.
Insurance?
One-day event liability of $1,000,000 naming the farm as additional insured. Your bar service carries its own on top.
Is the barn heated?
No. Gorgeous in June, honest in October, closed November through April. We would rather tell you than sell you February.

Where does everyone sleep?
36 in beds — four cabins, the farmhouse, the bunkhouse — plus a dozen tents on the meadow. Overflow is Viroqua, 19 miles. The whole story.
Is it accessible?
Barn, restrooms and terrace are step-free; the hill has a mowed accessible route; one cabin is fully accessible. Tell us what would help and we will set it up.
Parking and shuttles?
60 cars behind the barn with marshalled overflow. The shuttle question depends on your bar plan, and we will be straight with you about it.
Can we visit first?
Every wedding here starts with a tour — weekday evenings and Saturday mornings, when the light is best. Book one.
